Louis Dragonetti, 66, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, died Friday, November 4, 2011. He was born to Bernardino and Maria Dragonetti on August 12, 1945 in Itri, Italy. Louis honorably served his country with the United States Air Force, retiring after 20 plus years of service. Louis Dragonetti, 66, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, died Friday, November 4, 2011. He was born to Bernardino and Maria Dragonetti on August 12, 1945 in Itri, Italy. Louis honorably served his country with the United States Air Force, retiring after 20 plus years of service. He enjoyed the arts, specifically opera, reading a good book, and was very proud that he could speak seven languages. Louis' pride and joy was his family and seeing his grandchildren smile. He will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts of everyone he touched. Louis is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Loreta, daughters Kita Dragonetti of Denver, CO, and Mirella Dragonetti of Las Cruces, NM, his mother Maria Dragonetti, sister Emily Maurer of Albuquerque, NM, and by his grandchildren, Nigel Medina, Nyeema Dragonetti, and Christopher Dragonetti-Reed. He is preceded in death by his father, Bernardino Dragonetti. A visitation will be Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Getz Funeral Home with the prayer vigil service to follow. A Graveside service will be Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
