Louise J. Scott, 86, beloved mother, sister, and Nana, went to Glory on Wednesday, May 2, 2007. She was born on June 4, 1920 in Tulia, TX, to Frances and Henry Jones. Mrs. Scott was a 61 year resident of Las Cruces and was employed by Whitfield Transportation for many years. She was a devout Christian and faithful member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 39 years Paul Scott, brothers Jim Jones and William E. Jones, sister Margaret Rumble and mother-in-law Lula Douglass. Louise is survived by two daughters Judy Pabst and husband Don of Albuquerque, NM and Paula Campbell of Roswell; grandchildren Lori D'Antonio, Tammy Gensheimer, Treg Pabst, Kyle Campbell, Erin Campbell-Aiello and Scott Campbell; great-grandchildren Collin D'Antonio, Corey D'Antonio, Lauren Gensheimer and Brian Gensheimer; one sister Ruth Tyson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends who have been a cherished part of her life. She touched the lives of so many people and will always be remembered for the love and kindness she gave so freely. Serving, as pallbearers will be Jim McPherson, Ken McCardle, Will McWhorter, Treg Pabst, Kyle Campbell, Scott Campbell and nephew Mike Tyson. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, May 11, 2007 at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Maurice Hollingsworth officiating. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum. A special thanks to the staff of the Morningside Building at the Village of Northrise for their loving care.
