Louise Waring Zeigler died on December 4, 2008. She was born on February 3, 1921 in Escondido, California, the second child of Norman Alfred Waring and Ascha May Umpleby Waring. She is survived by her four daughters, Rondla Hardin and husband Stephen of Las Cruces, NM; Shiela Lotspeich and husband James of Lago Vista, TX; Yvonne Gonzales and husband Ramiro of Canutillo, TX; and Diane DeSouza and husband Ferdinand of Taos, NM. Also surviving her are eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marion W. Cook; and her husband Dr. Royal K. Zeigler. At her request, cremation will take place and she will be interred with her husband in the Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Good Samaritan Village, 3025 Terrace Drive, Las Cruces, NM 88011 or Mesilla Valley Hospice
