Lucille Crago Otero, 46, was born in Holbrook, Arizona, and went to school mainly in Gallup, NM, she was the mother of two sons born in Winslow, Arizona, and furthered a successful career as an extraordinary medical biller in Phoenix, Arizona. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2001 and was recovering until suffering a reoccurrence in late 2004. In December 2004, she moved to Las Cruces, NM where her mother and "Pops" lovingly cared for her until her death on February 3, 2005. She leaves behind two sons, Marc Stephen Otero of Phoenix, AZ and Jamie Ralph Otero of Winslow, AZ; parents, Clara and John Murphy of Las Cruces, NM; two sisters, Veronica Sparks and husband Seth, and Eva Hale and husband Richard of Albuquerque, NM; brother Arthur Murphy of Portland, OR; five nephews, Joshua and Judah Sarracino, Isaac Murphy, Kenny Sparks and "baby" Richard Hale; three nieces, Frances, Jayme Lynn and Alex Murphy; aunt Mollie Ferniza, and three uncles, Lawrence A. Reyes, Gilbert A. Reyes and Albert C. Reyes. There were also numerous cousins. Lucille lived in a world where there were no strangers. She especially loved the underdog.
