She was born October 3, 1932 in Colonias, New Mexico to Manuel and Beneranda Ulibarri. Lucille U. Padilla, 73 years of Las Cruces Entered eternal Life Wednesday, September 6, 2006 after fighting a battle of kidney disease. She was born October 3, 1932 in Colonias, New Mexico to Manuel and Beneranda Ulibarri. Lucille was a very active member in church activities at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church and had a very accomplished life with the church and in social activities. Lucille is survived by four sons, Carlos of Las Cruces, NM; Mark of Chaparral, NM; Peter of Las Vegas, NM and Ted of Albuquerque, NM. Four daughters, Veronica of Albuquerque, NM; Olivia of California; Cynthia of Santa Fe, NM; and Anna of Albuquerque, NM. Also surviving Lucille are eight grandchildren, Alicia, Rodrigo, Alexandra, Miguel, Brandon, Sarah, Carla and David. And five great grandchildren, Steven, Milo, Jade, Tylia and Fernando. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos; her mother and father; a sister, and a nephew. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 8, 2006 at Nuestra Senora de Refugio Catholic Church in Puerto de Luna, New Mexico. Burial will follow at Nuestra Senora de Refugio Cemetery in Puerto de Luna, NM. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. PDF Printable Version
