Lucinda P. Ferrill, 83, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005. She was born April 26, 1922 in Boston, MA. to Harold and Margurite Rockwell Pratt. She was a veteran of the US Navy (WAVE) where she served her country honorably during WW II. After the war she continued to serve as a nurse until her retirement. Lucinda's greatest joy in life was the happiness of her six children....
Lucinda P. Ferrill, 83, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005. She was born April 26, 1922 in Boston, MA. to Harold and Margurite Rockwell Pratt. She was a veteran of the US Navy (WAVE) where she served her country honorably during WW II. After the war she continued to serve as a nurse until her retirement. Lucinda's greatest joy in life was the happiness of her six children. She was a wonderful mother who dedicated her life to them and was proud of each one. Probably the greatest lesson she ever taught her children was to treat all people with kindness. Lucinda was a loving friend to many people and was always there whenever they needed her. Lucinda was all about love for everyone. She will be missed tremendously by her family and many friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her five children: Bill, Peter, Barbara, Annie and Andrew. Lucinda's 5th child Tom passed away in 1995. Memorial Services for Lucinda will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005 at the Golden Mesa Retirement Village with Fr. Michael Catone officiating. PDF Printable Version
