Maegan Anne Rose Franco passed away unexpectedly on January 1st, 2021. She was born on May 12th, 1987 at Memorial General Hospital. She graduated from San Andreas High School and attended New Mexico State University. One of her proudest accomplishments was mentoring troubled youths and helping them to create better outcomes and lives for themselves. She also attended Cosmetology School which fostered her interest and love for working with hair and makeup. Maegan was kind, intelligent, tenacious, and generous. She was so creative and loved to write stories and poems - some of which were published in Mayfield High School's Ink Slinger publication. She loved to draw and read, was intensely curious and always sought to enrich her mind. She loved dogs and missed her boxers, Monte and Sadie. Maegan was a protective and extraordinary mother to her daughter and loved Deanna fiercely and completely. The time she spent with Deanna was the most precious and important time to her. Maegan is survived by her daughter, Deanna Marie Franco; her parents Eddie Franco and Caren Hutchinson; her uncles, Rudy G. Franco and Pete G. Franco; her aunts, Barbara J Wilkinson and Paula Franco. She is also survived by her step-siblings, Melissa and Michael and cousins, Stephanie, Leslie, Beverly, Deanna, Suzanne, Shawn, Eric, Jesse, Saundra, Justin, and Tara. A celebration of her life will be held at a yet-to-be determined date.
