Manuel Sanchez 55, of Las Cruces, NM, passed away on June 11th, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.. Mannie was born on April 1st, 1968, born and raised in Las Cruces, NM. He was born to Late father Manuel Sanchez Sr. and mother, Mary Alice Reyes. Manuel was married to Roxann Sanchez for 33 years where they raised 4 children. Mannie was a graduate of Mayfield High School class of 1986 where he played Football for the Trojans. Mannie was well known in the Parts Department at Holiday World of Las Cruces, where he knew all of your RV needs. He also coached all of his siblings and children of youth sports for 30+ years, including boxing, football, baseball and basketball. He loved to play pool with his son Adrian and sure was a shark. In his own youth, he was a Golden Glove Champion in the 80s, where he boxed for Pal boxing and Struhbar boxing. He loved to take his chances in the High Rollers at the Casino, and always came out a winner. In his younger days he was a breakdancer with his brothers in a group called Unique Physique. Being born on April Fools made him a natural born jokester. Diehart Steelers, Dodger, and Canelo/Boxing fan. Survived by his loving family, wife Roxann Sanchez, son Mannie Sanchez III (Jenna), son Eric Sanchez (Carly), his favorite daughter, Noelani Sanchez, and youngest son, Adrian Sanchez (Elianna), and Isaac Love. His brothers, Ronnie Rivera, Michael Struhbar, Frank Sanchez (Veronica) and Noel Sanchez. His furbaby Phoebe, and his four grandchildren that he loved very much known as "Grampy", Grace, James, Quade, and Wesley. As well as his God son Nicholas Martinez (Teresa). Loved dearly by all of his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and special friends and family. A big special thanks to the first responders, Primary Dr. Jaime Sanchez and staff, Claudio Perez-Ledezma and staff and CCU nurses at Memorial Medical Center. Mannie was a Legend and will be greatly missed by his family. Like he always said, "Go Steelers". First Visitation
