It is with great sorrow and loss that we announce the passing of Manuel B Gomez fondly called "Manny" by all who knew and loved him. Manny was born in San Francisco Del Oro, Chihuahua, Mexico to Roman and Lucrecia Gomez on January 12, 1937 and was called to the arms of our heavenly father March 2, 2012 at the age of 75. It is with great sorrow and loss that we announce the passing of Manuel B Gomez fondly called "Manny" by all who knew and loved him. Manny was born in San Francisco Del Oro, Chihuahua, Mexico to Roman and Lucrecia Gomez on January 12, 1937 and was called to the arms of our heavenly father March 2, 2012 at the age of 75. Manny joins his parents and beloved sisters Anacirila, Paula, Mercedes (Nena) and his brothers Epifanio (Pano), Pilar, and Carlos. He is survived by his wife Sara C Gomez, 4 children Hector, Ruben, Oscar, Nancy, 8 grandchildren Matthew, Ryan, Nathan, Bailey Joe, Jessica, Chris, Jade, and Emiliano, and his siblings Tomasa, Victoria, and Marcelino (Chelino). Manny was a loved and admired hard working extraordinary man. He was caring, considerate and had a heart of gold. His passions were working on his pecan orchard and being with his family and friends while sharing a cup of coffee as well as taking walks with his wife and grandchildren. Manny worked for over 18 years at Stahmann Farms then worked for 22 years at Sara Lee from which he retired. He was blessed to have shared his life with many wonderful neighbors and friends who are all welcome to join us in celebration of Manny's life starting with a viewing Tuesday March 6, 2012 from 5 -7 pm followed by a service from 7
