On Tuesday January 31, 2023, Marcellus Andry, 34, passed away peacefully. He fought a good fight, but he succumbed to his illness. Marcellus was born on December 22, 1988, in Rio Rancho CA.

Marcellus Andry attended White Sands Elementary School, Organ Mountain High School previously Onate High School and then New Mexico State University graduating in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in Individual Studies.

After graduating, he fulfilled his childhood dream of being a firefighter becoming a dedicated firefighter with the Dona Ana Fire Department.

Throughout his life he brought light to those around him with his never-ending optimism. He was always there to lend a hand or to give you the shirt off of his back. He had great sense of humor, always joking and playing around. He was a gatherer in all thing's family, friends and hobbies, his love of anime and video games, especially Pokmon and was always seen on his walks with his Pokmon Go ball. Got to catch them all.

Marcellus was predeceased by his grandfathers' Sabino B Andry and James L Jones.

He is survived by Grandmothers' Marietta R Andry and Vivian W Mitchell, both of Mobile AL, his parents Monica Andry of Mobile AL and Conrad Andry of Las Cruces NM, his siblings Joshua B.
