Our beloved Margaret B. Telles, age 81, was called Home on Friday May 31, 2013, from her residence in Las Cruces, NM. Margaret was born on April 6, 1932 to Carlos Solis Benavidez the 1st and Maria Refugia (Cuca) Gonzales. Margaret, born a woman of the Lord, was very involved with Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral, where she was a long time member of the Choir and the Guadalupanas....
Our beloved Margaret B. Telles, age 81, was called Home on Friday May 31, 2013, from her residence in Las Cruces, NM. Margaret was born on April 6, 1932 to Carlos Solis Benavidez the 1st and Maria Refugia (Cuca) Gonzales. Margaret, born a woman of the Lord, was very involved with Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral, where she was a long time member of the Choir and the Guadalupanas. As a beautiful, kind, caring woman she made friends and touched lives where ever she went. Margaret obtained her GED from Dona Ana Branch Community College in 1988. She was employed at NASA cafeteria, and at Las Cruces High School cafeteria. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Henry Lopez Telles as well as her brothers Fidel Benavidez, Charlie Benavidez, Augustine Benavidez and her sister Adela B. Padilla. She is survived by her children: Christine Montalvo, Henry Telles and wife Janette, Diana Telles, Carlos Telles and wife Caroline. Her grandchildren: Katherine Hamilton and husband Robert, Andrew Telles, Briana Aragon and husband Jonathan, Amanda Telles, Jacqueline Garcia, Raquel Garcia, Brittney Telles, and Cassandra Telles. Her great grandchildren: Mark Hamilton, Nicolas Hamilton, and Bella Aragon. We will miss our mom and take comfort in the Promise of our Lord and Savior as written in his word: John 3:16. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 7:00 PM followed by a prayer vigil at 7:30 PM at The Cathedral of The Immaculate Heart of Mary. The funeral mass will be on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM at The Cathedral of The Immaculate Heart of Mary. Rite of Committal will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
