Margaret F. Riggs 68, of Las Cruces, NM died Thursday Jan. 4, 2007. She was born September 5, 1938 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Gene McGuire and Della Fetty. Margaret managed the families small Chile packaging business for many years. Margaret F. Riggs 68, of Las Cruces, NM died Thursday Jan. 4, 2007. She was born September 5, 1938 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Gene McGuire and Della Fetty. Margaret managed the families small Chile packaging business for many years. In the later years of her life she was a "Happy Home Maker" and could whip out a red enchilada as quick as you could say it! She also loved her flowers. The rose was her favorite but also had beautiful Canna's and Iris's. Margaret loved her family, friends and her church very much. She was so happy to be one of God's children. We all know that when she took her last breath and went to be with her Lord, heaven rejoiced! Mrs. Riggs will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. Mrs. Riggs is survived by her loving husband Earl "Sonny" Riggs Jr. of the family home; sons Dennis Davis Riggs of Hatch, NM, Duane Michelle Riggs of Garfield, NM, Dale Riggs of Hobbs, NM and Don Riggs of Morenci, AZ; brothers Ronald McGuire and wife Mary of Carlsbad, NM and Robert and wife Sara McGuire of Arrey, NM; sister Eilleein Clinton Wilkerson of Socorro, NM. 8 grandchildren Tyson, Todd, Toby, Justin, Joshua, Luke, Jennifer and Sylvia, 4 great- grandchildren Emily, Chris, Chelsea and Berg, nieces and nephews also survive Margaret. A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Sunday January 7, 2007 at Getz Funeral Home. Her funeral service is at 2:00 P.M. Monday January 8, 2007 at the Garfield, NM Pentecostal Church with Brother Joe Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Hatch, NM. Pallbearers are grandsons Tyson, Todd, Toby, Justin, Luke and Joshua Riggs. PDF Printable Version
