Margaret Louise Day, 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2016. She was born July 23, 1923, in Blytheville, Arkansas, married Charles Day in 1942. They moved to New Mexico in 1952. Margaret Louise Day, 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2016. She was born July 23, 1923, in Blytheville, Arkansas, married Charles Day in 1942. They moved to New Mexico in 1952. Margaret was very active in the Las Cruces community. She and Charles owned two local businesses, Day's Pharmacy and Day's Hallmark. Margaret was also actively involved in local programs and services for special needs children and was a longtime supporter of Aggie athletics. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles and daughter, Nancy Lou. Margaret is survived by son Mike Day, and wife, Sandra, daughter, Valerie Segovia, and husband Benjie. She is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A private family memorial will be held to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice. PDF Printable Version
