Margaret M. Montoya

Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Margaret Montoya passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Born March 1, 1933 in Las Cruces, New Mexico she was preceded in death by her mother Elena Molina. Margaret is survived by her husband of 58 years George Montoya as well as her children George Montoya Jr; Norma Ledesma and husband Modesto Ledesma Jr; P. Martin Montoya; and Philip Montoya. Left to carry out her memory are her grandchildren: Georgia and Mark Tomada, Justin and Leah Hungate, Gayle and Jacob Martinez, Geanna Ledesma and Adam Luna, Philip (PJ) Montoya Jr, Sammy Montoya, Roxy Montoya, Tommy Montoya and Mia Montoya. Her precious great grandchildren: Paytyn and Gavin Martinez , Ryder Tomada and Seamus Hungate. Margaret worked as Lunch Monitor for the Las Cruces Public Schools before retiring in 2004. She was a member of St Genevieve's Catholic Church, 100 S. Espina, where a celebration mass will be held in her honor on Thursday, November 10th at 9:00 am. Father Don Adamski will be officiating.
