Margaret R. Hardin was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 7, 1915 to parents William and Anna Kopp. She was one of seven children. She died October 17, 2014 at the age of 99 at the Good Samaritan Society Las Cruces Village. She was predeceased by her husband Charles C. Hardin and her son Stephen. She is survived by her sisters Imogene Moore, Berniece Shaffer and her grandchildren Margaret and Charles. She worked for Eli Lily in Indianapolis and then a variety of other jobs before employment at White Sands Missile Range in the early 1950's. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Las Cruces. A graveside service officiated by Dr. Norm Story will be held at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church (www.zianet.com/fpc) of Las Cruces where she and her family have been active members for over 50 years or to the Stephen F.
