It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margarita Fajardo Flores, 95, lifelong resident of Hatch, NM on Friday, November 11, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margarita Fajardo Flores, 95, lifelong resident of Hatch, NM on Friday, November 11, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 16, 1921 to Gregorio and Jesusita Colmenero Fajardo in Rodey, NM. Mrs. Flores was a homemaker and a member of Our Lord of Mercy Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret of Hatch, a son, Richard and wife Michelle of Salem, NM. Three grandchildren, Rhonda and husband Trey Gimler of Hatch, Michael and wife Davene of Las Cruces, Deanne and John Shockey of Montana. Seven great grandchildren , Falicia , Ricardo, James, Tristin, Michael, Indiana and Tabor. Two great, great grandchildren, Xzavier and Emilia Marie, who was born fifteen hours after Grandma Maggie's passing, a brother-in-law, James Robles and wife Minerva and a brother-in-law, Elias Flores and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Eliseo Flores and a son, Eliseo Jr., sisters Amalia, Corina and Tommie, two brothers; Miguel and Gregorio Fajardo; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Rosary will begin at 7:00pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Our Lord of Mercy Catholic Church in Hatch. Funeral liturgy will begin at 1:00pm on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Our Lord of Mercy. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in Garden of Memories. Serving as casket bearers will be Ricardo Armendariz, James Gimler IV, Andrew Guerr...
