Marguerite Elaine Hanson, (nee Walton) 93, of Las Cruces, NM died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 at Mesilla Valley Hospice La Posada. She was born July 22, 1916 in Choteau, Montana to John P. Walton and Mina Fellows. She was a former member of the Eastern Star of Show Low, Arizona and a former resident of Waukegan, IL, Tucson, AZ., and Show Low, AZ. Marguerite Elaine Hanson, (nee Walton) 93, of Las Cruces, NM died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 at Mesilla Valley Hospice La Posada. She was born July 22, 1916 in Choteau, Montana to John P. Walton and Mina Fellows. She was a former member of the Eastern Star of Show Low, Arizona and a former resident of Waukegan, IL, Tucson, AZ., and Show Low, AZ. Marguerite enjoyed reading, sewing, drawing and painting. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her son Charles of Las Cruces survives her. Marguerite was preceded in death by Walter A. Kannewurf and Glenn C. Hanson. Private funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made in her name to Mesilla Valley Hospice, 299 E. Montana, Las Cruces, NM 88005 or Arbors of Del Rey, 3731 N.
