Maria L. Chairez, 66, of Hatch, NM died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005. She was born July 8, 1939 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Aurelio and Maria Del Refugio Magallanes Serrano. Maria will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. Maria L. Chairez, 66, of Hatch, NM died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005. She was born July 8, 1939 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Aurelio and Maria Del Refugio Magallanes Serrano. Maria will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband Juan Chairez of the family home; sons Rogelio, Margarito, Agustin, Jose Luis and Juan Chairez; daughters Maria Del Socorro Chairez, Maria Del La Luz Chairez and Juana Chairez; brothers Humberto, Manuel, Emilio and Cirilo Serrano; sister Manuela Serrano and by 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 PM Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005 at Our Lord of Mercy Catholic Church in Hatch, NM where a prayer vigil will follow at 7:00 PM. The funeral mass is at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005 also at Our Lord of Mercy with Fr. Enrique Escalera Lopez officiating.
