Maria was born in Mexico; orphaned at a young age. She immigrated and spent the better part of 70 years in Las Cruces. She was a hard worker, proud of being a housewife, and enjoyed tending to her garden. Everyone's fondest memory involves her constantly asking you if you wanted to eat. Sanchez (Vickie), 6 grandchildren: Lucas Morales, Thomas Morales (Mariah), Rebecca Borchert (Kevin), Antonio Sanchez (Emma), Christina, Victoria Sanchez and Cheyenne Maria Sanchez, Vivian Sanchez (daughter-in-law) 4 great grandchildren: Natalie, Michael, Aaron, and Claire.
