Mariela was a tender, loving person that loved talking, having people over, coloring, playing, singing, watching movies, dancing ballet folkloric, and tried out for the Special Olympics. She loved eating chile rellenos, nachos, and burgers.
Mariela is survived by her parents Jesus and Alicia Flores of Las Cruces, NM Brother Edwardo Flores of Amarillo, TX Nephew's Jesus and Gabriel Flores, of Las Cruces, NM, Eddie and Eric Flores of Amarillo, TX Niece Cecilia Flores of Las Cruces, NM, Silviana Flores of Amarillo, TX Great Nephew's Mateo, and William Flores of Amarillo, TX, and many auntie, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her brother Jesus Flores, Grandmother Maria Luisa Calderon, Grandfather Refugio Rubalcava.
A viewing will be held from 11 am to 2 pm, Friday, March 6, 2020 at Getz Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 2 pm. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Celebration of life will follow immediately at 1420 Hameil Rd., Las Cruces, NM 88001.
