Marjorie Ann Kord was born on September 5, 1948, in Addison, Michigan, to Richard and Helen Peterson. She passed away September 26th, 2020, during the Covid Pandemic with her family by her side. She has been greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her. Marjorie moved to Las Cruces in 1960. She graduated from Las Cruces High School in 1966, and married Robert Kord in 1969. Together they raised two sons: Robb and Brian. Marjorie was always an active parent in her son's and later granddaughter's lives. Marjorie is survived by her brother Rick Peterson; her husband Robert Kord; her two sons Robb and Brian, Brian's wife Amy Kord; two granddaughters, Shelby and Sophie, all of Las Cruces and Shelby's husband Nathan Bakker of Chico California. ‘A Celebration of Life with be held July 9th at 4.p.m. at the family residence. All who knew and loved her are invited to come and share stories of love and happiness.
