Martha D. Sedillo, 70 years old of Las Cruces, NM died on Sunday, May 13, 2007 at Casa Del Sol Senior Care Center. She was born January 6, 1937 in Los Angeles, CA to Catarino and Teresa Duran. Martha D. Sedillo, 70 years old of Las Cruces, NM died on Sunday, May 13, 2007 at Casa Del Sol Senior Care Center. She was born January 6, 1937 in Los Angeles, CA to Catarino and Teresa Duran. Martha was a lifelong resident of Las Cruces and was a member of the Catholic Church. For many years she had worked as a store clerk at Motts 5 & 10 Store. Martha is survived by two children, Steve Sedillo and his wife Rosa of Las Cruces and Yvonne DuBois and her husband Robert also of Las Cruces. One sister Linda Lopez and her husband Richard of Las Cruces, three grandchildren, Esteban Sedillo, Mindy Franich, Stephanie Morales and two great grandchildren Cody Ray Franich and Christopher Jesus Baca also survive Martha. Her husband Avenicio Sedillo, her parents, Catarino and Teresa Duran and her godson Richard Lopez Jr, preceded Martha in death. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel where the Prayer Vigil will follow at 7 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10 AM on Friday, May 18, 2007 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral, 1240 S. Espina. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at the Dona Ana Cemetery. Officiating will be Fr. Sean Garrity. Serving, as pallbearers will be Esteban, Robert, David, and Richard Sedillo, Paul Lopez, and Gabriel Gonzales. PDF Printable Version
