Martha S. Pereda, age 77 of Las Cruces, passed away Friday, May 19th, 2017. She was Born in Colonia Dubln, Chihuahua, Mexico to the late Jose and Maria de Jesus Saenz. Family and friends were Martha's passion and delight. She enjoyed painting and loved to host and entertain family gatherings. Martha S. Pereda, age 77 of Las Cruces, passed away Friday, May 19th, 2017. She was Born in Colonia Dubln, Chihuahua, Mexico to the late Jose and Maria de Jesus Saenz. Family and friends were Martha's passion and delight. She enjoyed painting and loved to host and entertain family gatherings. She was very active and loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, bird watching and tending to her garden. Martha is survived by her husband, Francisco G. Pereda, her Daughters, Sonya LaChapelle, Rosy Singleton, Martha Sims and her son Francisco S. Pereda. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her illness. Arrangements were provided by Getz Funeral Home and services will be held at San Albino Catholic Church on Tuesday May 30th, 2017 at 1:30 pm. First Visitation
