Martin Espinoza, 60, of Las Cruces, passed away on January 12, 2023 after a courageous two year battle with Multiple Myeloma and kidney disease.

He was lovingly known by family and friends as "Coco" or "Teenie" and was known by all to be a kid at heart in every sense.

Martin was born in Embudo, NM and grew up in Taos, where he began his love for tinkering with cars and other machinery. He later moved to Las Cruces where he worked at the family business for many decades, as a very detail-oriented and talented sheet metal fabricator and crane operator.

Martin was a regular at regional auctions, junk yards, antique stores, estate sales, and flea markets and his love for collecting made him a friend to many in the area.

His mischievousness and quick-wit made him stand out amongst everyone he met, always leaving anyone around him with a smile. The laughter he brought to his family and friends and his unwavering willingness to always show up when someone needed help will be greatly missed, remembered, and cherished.

He was preceded in death by his father Jose Abel Espinoza and grandparents Abel and Margaret Espinoza; and Fred and Socorro Romero.

Martin is survived by his mother, Marjorie Saul; brother Ben/Steve (Kathy), brother Michael (Vicky), and sister Elizabeth (Marvin). He also leaves behind many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lastly, Martin leaves behind his beloved best friend poodle, Louis.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Raja and the staff at Memorial Medical Cancer Center and Dr. Ossai and the staff at US Renal Care for all of their care over the past two years.

Services for Martin will be announced at a later date.
