Mary E. Lynch, 89, of Las Cruces, died Thursday, May 3, 2011. She was born Aug. 9, 1921 in Winona, MN. to Frank J. and Olga A Kozlowski Theis. She was retired from W.S.M.R. with over 30 years of faithful government service and a past member of the Rio Grande Order of Amaranth. Mary enjoyed arts and crafts and was fondly known as the "CRAFTING QUEEN". Her passion was for her family who will forever love and miss her. She is survived by her son Stephen Lynch and wife Jo Lynn of Silver City, NM; daughter Linda Lunsford and husband Wayne of Los Alamos, NM; step-daughter Kady Hankins and husband Dan of San Diego, CA; brother Jack and sisters Dolores and Rose Mary. Also surviving her are her grandchildren Ty, Sharee, Debbie, Thomas, Kristina, Paige and by 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lynch is preceded in death by her husband Walter Lynch in 2006 and by a brother Bill Theis. Memorial Services to celebrate her life will be at 11 am on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Getz Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice, 299 E.
