Mary (Lulu) Hernandez left to be with the Lord on February 25, 2022. She was 72 years old. Born in La Mesa, Texas on August 12, 1949, to Mariana Fabela and Gerardo Moreno. She was a devout Christian and a longtime resident of Las Cruces. She enjoyed helping others and was part of the Grandparents raising grandchildren program. Her favorite hobbies were playing Bingo and dancing to oldies. She enjoyed spending time with her family and making everyone laugh. She is survived by her Children, sons Clayton Gonzales, Pedro Mike Martinez and Santiago Mata. Her daughters, Victoria Melendrez and Rosario Mata. She also had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters. Services will be held at Getz Funeral Home at 1410 E. Bowman in Las Cruces, NM on Friday March 11, 2022. Public Viewing 10-11am Followed by Prayer Services with Pastor Fred Espinoza. First Visitation
