Mary Kathryn Engebos, Age 54, was pronounced dead on Friday November 30, 2018 in Las Cruces, NM. She was born Jun 2, 1964 at Hotel Dieu, El Paso, TX to Bernard and Kathryn Engebos. She is a graduate of Mayfield High School, class of 1982. She worked many jobs, including bookkeeping for Turrentine and advertising for the Las Cruces Sun News. She later attended American Business College and obtained an Associate degree. Then she worked for the Alumni Association at NMSU. Theater was one of her loves. She was active in the Las Cruces Community theater (LCCT) for several years and directed the play "Dial M for Murder". She also volunteered at the Dona Ana Arts Council Renaissance Arts Faire for 17 years and was presented with a Volunteer of the Month award. She enjoyed designing and making costumes for her friends and encouraged them to participate. Mary never met a stray dog she did not love. Since she was a teenager, she has owned at least one Pekingese. At this time, Jesse James and Princess Padme were calling her mom.
