Mary L. Tellez, 76 of Las Cruces, NM died Saturday April 4, 2009. She was born July 28, 1932 in Roswell, NM to Ramon and Carolina Valdez. Mary loved working at her restaurant making people happy with her delicious food. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her friends at the V.F.W. and Order Of the Eagles in Roswell, NM. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends who know and love her. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years husband Ralph Tellez of the family home; sons Don Tellez, Mike Tellez and wife Yvette all of Las Cruces, Joe Tellez and wife Kendra, Frank Tellez and Pat Tellez all of Albuquerque, NM, Ralph Tellez of Roswell, NM; brothers George Valdez and wife Rita, Bob Valdez and wife Mary and Jim Valdez and wife Loy all of Roswell, NM; sisters Flo Valdez of El Paso, TX and Auerlia Gonzalez of Roswell, NM. At her request cremation has taken place and memorial services to celebrate her life will be held in Roswell, NM at a later date.
