Mary Louise Dorries Eldridge was born December 22,1926 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Henry William Dorries and Pearl Capps Dorries. At the age of 97 she passed peacefully in her sleep at her home at the Village at Northrise in Las Cruces, NM.

Mary Louise Dorries Eldridge was born December 22,1926 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Henry William Dorries and Pearl Capps Dorries. At the age of 97 she passed peacefully in her sleep at her home at the Village at Northrise in Las Cruces, NM.
She is survived by her children, Marilyn Weichmann (Michael), Allen Eldridge (Janet), and Mark Eldridge. She was blessed with seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 62 years, Deward LaVerne Eldridge, her son, Donald Eldridge and a grandson, Travis Eldridge, as well as her siblings, Betty Willeford, Robert Dorries, Ruth Lueckerath, David Dorries and Patricia Henning.
During their marriage, Mary and Deward lived in Los Alamos, New Mexico, Clarksville, Tennessee and Amarillo, Texas. Mary moved to Las Cruces in 2019 to be near her daughter.
The family wish to thank Mary’s caregivers at the Village at Northrise - Morningside and Mesilla Valley Hospice for their kindness and caring in her final days. A memorial will be held for Mary at a later date.
