Mary R. Dominguez, 88, of Las Cruces passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 into Gods loving arms at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born December 06, 1924 in Las Cruces, NM to Pablo and Guadalupe H. Rede. She married Frank O. Dominguez on December 19, 1945. Mary's hobbies include Crochet, knit and embroider. She loved to make quilts for her children and grandchildren. She also loved to go camping, and was a member of the Catholic Church. Mary is survived by her husband of 68 years, Frank O. Dominguez of the family home. Her children, Millie Buntsma (Charlie), Emma Silva (Joe), Fred Dominguez (Paula), Tony Dominguez (Lilly),Janet Monje (Larry). She is also survived by her brothers Lupe Rede (Mary Lou), Angel Rede (Irma), Raymond Rede (Lita); Sisters Elisa Puentes (Butch Ruiz), Rosie Witt (John), Esther Garcia (Roland) and Brother-in-law Frank Dominguez, Jr., and sister-in-law Natalia Maese (Lupe). Mary also leaves behind her Grandchildren; Jaime Reyes (Tracy), Jeannine Reyes, Jeffrey Reyes, Valerie Silva, Christine Martinez (Paul), Steven Monje (Angela), Jacob Monje, Jessica Monje, Amanda Dominguez, Daniel Dominguez, Denise Dominguez, Marissa Holguin (Bobby), Katie Ash (Stephen); Great Grandchildren Alyssa Reyes, Trinity Monje, Natalie Dominguez, Paul Martinez, Jr., Erika Reyes, Kayla Martinez, Elija Mari Monje, Brooklynne Ash, Hailey Ash, Devin Tarango, Clara Ash, Emmarie Ash. Dominguez; Brothers: Manuel Rede and Pablo Rede, Jr., and sister Eva Ontiveros, her grandson Jeremy Michael Monje, Brother-in-laws; Antonio Dominguez and Edmund (Bobby) Dominguez; Sister-in-laws: Cynthia Dominguez, Margaret Dominguez, Teresa Rede and Minnie Rede. Visitation for Mary will be Monday, September 23, 2013 at Saint Genevieve Catholic Church from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., where a rosary will be held at 10 a.m., with funeral mass immediately following. At her request cremation will take place after the services. Serving as pallbearers, Jaime Reyes, Jeff Reyes, Steven Monje, Jacob Monje, Paul Martinez and Ricky Tarango. PDF Printable Version
