It is with great sadness that we announce that Matthew V Goodwin was called home 11/16/22. An incredible husband, Grandaddy, father, brother, son, and friend; taken too soon. He leaves behind an amazing life filled with love, great hugs and more laughter than anyone could imagine. An appraiser for over 30 years, he loved his second home of El Paso and the wonderful people he worked...
It is with great sadness that we announce that Matthew V Goodwin was called home 11/16/22. An incredible husband, Grandaddy, father, brother, son, and friend; taken too soon. He leaves behind an amazing life filled with love, great hugs and more laughter than anyone could imagine. An appraiser for over 30 years, he loved his second home of El Paso and the wonderful people he worked alongside. In his spare time he was enjoying his music and spending countless hours with his granddaughters; whom he treasured dearly. Left to celebrate his life is his high school sweetheart of 43 years Suzette, his children whom he loved and was so proud of Britton, Sheilayna "Shay" and her husband Daniel; and his granddaughters Alayna and Adalyn, his 2 brothers Roger and his wife Donna, Mark and his wife Barbara and their son Brian. Sevices will be at Morningstar United Methodist Church in Las Cruces, New Mexico December 3, 2022 at 10 AM. At his request, you may choose to wear jeans and a concert or music T-shirt instead of traditional funeral dress. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the animal service center of the Mesilla Valley or life plants may be sent to the family.
