Miguel M. Gonzales, 72, passed away peacefully at home in Albuquerque, NM, on Sunday, September 10, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Miguel was born on July 11, 1945 in Las Cruces, NM to Miguel and Guadalupe Gonzales. Miguel was a meat cutter for 35 years and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Miguel M. Gonzales, 72, passed away peacefully at home in Albuquerque, NM, on Sunday, September 10, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Miguel was born on July 11, 1945 in Las Cruces, NM to Miguel and Guadalupe Gonzales. Miguel was a meat cutter for 35 years and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also a member of the Catholic Church. Left to cherish his memory is wife of 27 years, Mary Lou Gonzales, children, Peggy Angel, Yvette Sandoval, Amy Jo Gonzales (Jeannine), Michelle Gonzales (Selena), Veronica Gonzales (Sonia), Patricia Gonzales Metz (Colin), and Samantha Gonzales. He also survived by his sister, Lupe Salazar (Juan), Brothers-in-law, Johnny Carabajal, Teddy Aldridge, David Clark, Sisters-in-law, Chila Clark, and Rachel Johnson. Grandchildren, Nick Gonzales, Jovonni, Jacinda and Jared Rico, Cole Mateo Metz, Stephanie Escudero, Valerie Escudero (Clovis), Frank Miranda, Nicole and Ashley Escalera, and Ray Sandoval. Great Grandchildren, Caleb Gonzales, Landen Ladd, Ivory and Jazzy Villa, Jaxon Bachicha, J-nyl and Christoper Martinez, Trinity Boyd, Henisey Angel, and Meea Garcia. Nieces, Frances Moore, Minerva Sanders, Sandra Rogers, Crystal Salazar, Rachel Flores, Lisa Bernal, Christine Archuleta, and Blanca Gonzales. Visitation will be held, Monday, September 18, 2017 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel from 5 pm to 7 pm, with rosary at 7 pm. Funeral Liturgy to held at 10 am, Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Mike Gray Jr., Joshua Gray, Jared Rico, Nick Gonzales, Frank Miranda, and Ray Sandoval. First Visitation
