Mike Espaline, 64, of Las Cruces, NM died Monday, August 21, 2006 at Memorial Medical Center. Mike was born September 29, 1941 in El Paso, Texas to Tomas and Patricia Espalin. He had been a resident of the Las Cruces area for the last two years coming from Fresno, California. Mike Espaline, 64, of Las Cruces, NM died Monday, August 21, 2006 at Memorial Medical Center. Mike was born September 29, 1941 in El Paso, Texas to Tomas and Patricia Espalin. He had been a resident of the Las Cruces area for the last two years coming from Fresno, California. Mike is survived by his wife Jessie; one son Michael Espalin; four daughters, Laura Espaline, Michelle Espalin, Tyra Estrada and Priscilla Espalin all of Fresno, California. One brother Elias Espalin of San Diego, California; and one sister, Mary De Soto of Clovis, California. Three step daughters, Loretta Campolla of Las Cruces, New Mexico; Melinda Campolla of Austin, Texas, and Sylvia Lujan of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Tomas and Patricia Espalin, and two sisters, Irene Espalin and Maggie Espalin. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Getz Funeral Home; Graveside Funeral Service will be at 10 AM on Friday, August 25, 2006 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Officiating will be Brother Carlos Amato. Serving, as honorary pallbearers will be Danny Espalin, Leo Salinas, Luis Medrano, Joe Jaquez. Rudy Davila, Mark Esquivel, Tony Gonzalez, and Sonny Solis.
