Minerva Robles

Minerva Robles, 84 was called by the Lord on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from her home surrounded by her loving family. Minerva was born in 1937. She was married to the love of her life, Jimmy Robles for 66 wonderful years. Shortly after marriage Minerva & Jimmy started a family, because of his fluctuating work schedule Minerva stayed home to raise the boys. When the boys started school, she began working at Amis Propane as the bookkeeper. During her employment with Amis, she gave birth to their youngest and only daughter. After relocating to Dona Ana, she continued working at Amis for many years, after the business closed, she began working at Kmart which eventually led to her retirement. Upon retirement Minerva enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. Her favorite getaway was going to the casinos. She was a devout member of the Catholic Church and donated to numerous charities including her favorite organization, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Minerva survived by her husband Jimmy, two sons James (Debra) & John (Vicky) daughter, Jackie (Ed) grandchildren: Anne Marie, James III, Amanda, Adrienne, Arlene, Richard, Corey, Candace, Janelle, Liz, Taylor, Patrick, Ally, Steven, Denise, Izaiah, Jonah, 21 great- grandchildren, her stepmother Tillie, sisters Victoria & May, brothers Primo, Pat, Jimmy & Gary. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph (Jody) father Estevan, Mother Josephine, sisters Peggy & Caroline, brothers Steve (Jr.) & Jackie.

Services for Minerva will be held Friday April 22, 2022, at Our Lady of Purification 5525 Cristo Rey St. Dona Ana, NM Rosary 2:00PM, Funeral mass to immediately follow. Interment of ashes to follow at the Dona Ana Cemetery Cam De Flores, Las Cruces, NM.
