Monica A. (Mutti) Sifuentes, 91, of San Pablo, NM died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005. She was born May 5, 1914 in Clifton, AZ to Pasqual and Juanita Amezola. Monica had a passion for life and even greater passion for her family. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. Monica A. (Mutti) Sifuentes, 91, of San Pablo, NM died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005. She was born May 5, 1914 in Clifton, AZ to Pasqual and Juanita Amezola. Monica had a passion for life and even greater passion for her family. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her two daughters Guadalupe A. Matthews and husband Prezy of Sierra Vista, AZ and Asuncion Duran and husband David of San Pablo, NM; sister Isabel Albillar of Mesilla, NM; grandchildren Maria Matthews, Mark Duran and Danny Duran; great-granddaughter Krystana and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Monica was preceded in death by her husband David Sifuentes and brother Meliton Amezola. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 PM on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005 at Getz Funeral Home where a prayer vigil will follow at 7 PM. The funeral mass is at 10 AM on Monday, Dec. 5, 2005 at San Albino Catholic Church with Msgr. Robert Getz officiating. Rite of Committal will be at the San Albino Cemetery. Pallbearers are members of Monica's family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1100 S. Main, Las Cruces, NM 88005. (505) 647-3868.
