Nancy D. Wasser, 68 of Las Cruces, NM died Monday May 26, 2008 at Mountain View Regional Hospital. She was born March 19, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to Harry and Minnie Deabel. Nancy and her husband Daniel Wasser lived in Pell Lake, Wisconsin for many years before coming to Las Cruces, New Mexico. Nancy D. Wasser, 68 of Las Cruces, NM died Monday May 26, 2008 at Mountain View Regional Hospital. She was born March 19, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to Harry and Minnie Deabel. Nancy and her husband Daniel Wasser lived in Pell Lake, Wisconsin for many years before coming to Las Cruces, New Mexico. She had a great passion to make sure that all animals were loved and cared for. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, raising and supporting her family through life, from going to the many sporting events to going to the casino. All that knew and loved her will miss her loving smile, strong support, and patriotic love for her family and Americia. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Daniel Wasser and their two children Danny and Wife Sharon Wasser, NM and Kris Wasser and Ray Galvan all of Las Cruces, NM. Nancy is also survived by one brother Jerry Deabel, four grandchildren Mackenzie, Amber, Shannon and Tate all of Las Cruces, NM. A memorial and burial of cremains will take place Friday May 30, 2008 at 10 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Rev. Greg Higgins of Calvary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) 424 E. 92nd St. New York, NY 10128-6804. PDF Printable Version
