Naomi Leyva Mansur, 53, went to be with the Lord on March 13, 2017 in Las Cruces, NM. She was born on October 22, 1963 in Truth or Consequences, NM to Richard and Ruby Leyva. Nomi grew up in Hatch, NM wither her three siblings. She graduated in 1981 from Hatch Valley High School where she enjoyed playing volleyball. In her free time, she loved making jewelry, crafting, camping and fishing. Nomi is survived by her parents of Hatch, NM, three sons, Joey Banegas and wife Krissy, of San Antonio, TX, Kelley Mansur of Las Cruces, NM, Kurtis Mansur and wife Tanya of Hatch, NM, and nine grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Arty Leyva of Tularosa, NM, her sisters Terry Cordero of San Antonio, TX and Sabrina Grijalva of Las Cruces, NM. She is preceded in death by her grandson Alyus Mansur. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Our Lord of Mercy Catholic Church in Hatch, NM. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am, followed by a rosary service and mass with Father Alejandro Reyes officiating. Burial will take place immediately after at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Hatch.
