Natividad (Nati) Guerrra Diaz, 76, of Las Cruces passed away suddenly on Friday December 21, 2007, she was surrounded by those who loved her. Nati was born December 25, 1930. Natividad (Nati) Guerrra Diaz, 76, of Las Cruces passed away suddenly on Friday December 21, 2007, she was surrounded by those who loved her. Nati was born December 25, 1930. She was the daughter of Apolonio and Patricia Guerra of La Mesa, NM. She met and married her husband, Isaac Diaz on June 6, 1948. Nati was loving, very simplistic and a hard worker. She is survived by her husband Isaac, seven children, Isaac (Sonny) Jr., Osvaldo (Oso), Dennis Diaz, Terri Rede, Maria Owens, Olga Archuleta, and Dina Schlotterbeck; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; her brother Conrado Guerra, Las Cruces, sisters Lorenza Guerra, La Mesa, NM, and Aurora Tellez, Ridgecrest, CA. A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2007 from 5-7 PM at Getz Funeral Home with a prayer vigil to follow at 7 PM also at Getz. The funeral mass will be on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the San Albino Catholic Church in Old Mesilla, NM. The funeral procession will then proceed to Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery for the rite of committal. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Cowboys for Cancer Research P.O. Box 202, Dona Ana, NM 88032 or call (505) 526-6028.
