His siblings include Eugenio Montoya, Jesusita (Lucas) Trujillo, Noah (Gloria) Montoya, and Estella (Victor) Torrez. He was married to Genoveva Jimenez-Montoya for 37 years before her passing in 2003. He retired from White Sands Missile Range in 1986. He is survived by son, Raymundo J. Montoya and daughter in law Kimberly Montoya of Las Cruces and son Richard Cascante and daughter in law Kathy Cascante of Redlands, California. His grandchildren include Sophia, Deana, Erika, Raymundo (deceased), Andres, Brittany, April, Raymond, and Jennylyn. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Raymundo Montoya, Richard Cascante, Edward Montoya, Orlando Trujillo, Rik Gonzales, and Tony Torrez. Honorary pallbearers will be Arturo Perez and Michael Perez. Visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2014 at 6 pm at Getz Funeral Home with a Rosary beginning at 7 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Miranda St. at 10 am on Saturday, January 4, 2014. Burial will immediately follow at Masonic Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
