Olga M. Peoples, 58, of Los Lunas, NM and formerly of Las Cruces, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006. She was born March 4, 1947 in Fabens, TX to Victoriano and Liduvina Maldonado Hernandez. Olga had worked for Wal-Mart Inc. for over 20 years in the Risk Management Dept. She had a passion for doing charity work and was always willing to help anyone in need. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years Ret. Air Force Master Sergeant Alton Peoples of the family home; son Alton John Peoples of Albuquerque, NM; daughter Kathy Peoples of Belen, NM; brothers Victor Hernandez and wife Priscilla and Juan Hernandez and wife Kay all of Las Cruces; sisters Emma Duganich, Rose Mary Contreras and husband Mike and Berta Covey all of Las Cruces. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Olga was preceded in death by her son Steven, parents and brothers Joe, Raul and Manuel. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006 at Getz Funeral Home. Graveside Services are at 11:00 AM on Friday, Jan. 13, 2006 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Msgr.
