Pat Noland Lowry, Mesilla, NM passed away December 29, 2005 after a lengthy illness with lung cancer. Pat was born January 3, 1931 in Strawn, Texas to Earl T. and Irene Noland. She attended Texas Tech University and graduated from New Mexico A&M in 1952. Pat worked for many years in the business world before retiring from Production Credit Association. Lovingly referred to as Mommom, Pat was a strong, intelligent, and nurturing woman who will be missed by many. She married Dan Edward Lowry June 20, 1951 and resided on the family farm until her death. Pat is survived by her husband of 54 years and their children Ann Matlock of Las Cruces, sons Stuart, Edward, William and wife Nicole; Gayle Boggs and husband Jim of El Paso, TX, children Seth and Sarah James; Dave Lowry and wife Sandra of Mesilla, NM, children Sam, Amanda and Dave; Nancy Cowan of Tulsa, OK, children Boone and Clare; and Sally Tellez and husband Gil of Las Cruces, NM, children Caitlin and Cara Rotan. She is also survived by many extended family members and loved ones, including her wonderful caretaker Ramona Franco. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Dan Edward Lowry II and her brother Robert Noland. Pat was known for the great love she held for her family, friends, and community. A Memorial Service will be held at the Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum, 4100 Dripping Springs Road, Las Cruces, NM, on January 3, 2006 at 2 pm.
