Patricia Ann (Brown) Gill 88, went to be with the Lord at her home Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Patricia Ann (Brown) Gill 88, went to be with the Lord at her home Wednesday, May 31, 2023. A celebration of life is planned for 10:00am, Saturday, June 10th, in the St. Paul's United Methodist Church's Chapel with family visitation following the service in the commons area. Patricia was born October 24, 1934 in Oak Park, Illinois to Oliver Robert and Katherine (Zumbrock) Brown. She was united in marriage to Robert Willard Gill on June 6, 1956. They moved to Las Cruces in January of 1959 where they raised their family. Pat was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church, National Story League, Bowling Leagues, Square Dancing and numerous other activities. She was a friend to all and was very involved in everything she was a part of. She loved her family and friends deeply and will be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Willard Gill, son, Jeffrey Brown Gill and her parents Oliver and Kay Brown, Sister-in-laws Mary Brown,Sally Kessinger, Mary Branding and Suzanne Dirst. Brother-in-laws LeRoy Broadnax and Scott Gill. She is survived by her daughter Debra Gill Peyton (Bradley) of Plato, Missouri, her son Steven Robert Gill of Las Cruces and her son Gregory Lester Gill (Dawn) of Colorado Springs, CO. Her brother Oliver Robert Brown, Jr. of Rockville, MD, her brother David Brown (Marion) of Philadelphia, PA, her sister Kathy Jean Broadnax of Downers Grove, IL. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church 225 West Griggs Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88005 on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Paul's Methodist Church in her honor.
