Paul Orrin Buell was born January 23, 1936 in Roanoke, Texas and passed away October 2, 2022 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Paul was preceded in death by his wife Millie, father Erwin Clyde, mother Annabel Garvin and 9 siblings. Paul is survived by his sister, Ada Starrett and many nieces and nephews. Paul graduated from Boerne High School and attended Texas State University. He served in the Coast Guard and moved to Las Cruces to work at White Sands Military Range. Paul and Millie lived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for years where they both retired. After Millie's death Paul moved back to Las Cruces. Paul was a great listener and had many friends that met for coffee each morning. He had a love for Corvettes and was a member of a classic car club. He loved going on trips and attending car shows. A memorial is planned for Saturday, October 15 at 4 pm at Latter Rain Harvest Fellowship, 401 N. Main St. The Paul Buell Memorial Cruise will be Sunday, October 16 at 3 pm. Friends and family will assemble in the parking lot of the Walmart at 1550 S. Valley Dr. in the south portion of the lot. Following the cruise friends and family will congregate at the home of a member for sharing memories, food, and drink. Paul will be missed by his family and many friends.
