It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Peggy A. Dettmer. Peggy passed away September 7, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was born August 22, 1939, in Brinkley, Arkansas. She was the youngest child of Troy and Mildred Morrison. Peggy was a faithful member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, working for many years as their parish administrator, as well as serving in many other capacities. She was a Past Matron of Las Cruces Chapter #20, Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her sister, Betty Gingerich; sons Robert Mosley, Michael Mosley (wife Kerry), Steven Dettmer (wife Doris), and daughters Cynthia Caruso, Sandra Deroche, and Rebecca Sanderlin (husband Paul); 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Carl W. Dettmer, Jr. (Bill). Services will be held at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 518 N. Alameda, on September 30, 2022, at 10:00 am. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Andrew's Hospitality House.
