After graduating Wyaconda High School in 1955, she married her childhood sweetheart William (Bill) Murphy Jr. In 1959 she followed her husband to Ft. Bliss in El Paso TX and eventually nearby Las Cruces NM. Preceded in death by her soulmate William (Bill) Murphy Jr., father Albert Hendry, mother Francis Hendry, brother Ronald Hendry, and bother Paul Hendry. Survived by son William (Bill) Murphy VI, daughter‐in‐law Heather (Ludgewait) Murphy, grandson William (Bill) Murphy VIII and wife Kelsey, sister‐in‐law Sandra, and nieces/nephews Becky, Tammy, Sherry, Elizabeth, Paul Wesley, Lonnie, Ronnie, and Jimmy.
