Pete was a long time resident of Dona Ana, where he spent his time raising his loving roosters. He is survived by his daughter, Lupita Serna Peru and son, Kevin Serna. Pete "Petee" Cordova Serna, 62, passed away at home on March 26, 2015. Pete was born in Las Cruces on November 24, 1953. Pete was a long time resident of Dona Ana, where he spent his time raising his loving roosters. He is survived by his daughter, Lupita Serna Peru and son, Kevin Serna. Pete is also survived by three brothers: Francisco and wife Gloria, Ruben and wife Dorothy, Jesus and wife Cherri; Sisters Maria Luisa, Cecilia and husband Ramon Miranda, and Gloria. Pete was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Keisha Leigh Peru "Paloma"; Pedro Munoz Serna, father; Josefina Cordova Serna, mother; brother, Felix Cordova Serna; sister, Elisaida Salas. Pete was kept company throughout the years by long time neighbor of Dona Ana Wilfredo "Willie" and wife Annie Montenegro; Ray and wife Ester and family, also from Dona Ana; and Primo Carlos Valles. A prayer vigil will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 9:30 AM at Getz Funeral Home Chapel followed by a Celebration of Life at 10:00 AM. PDF Printable Version
