Born August 12, 1932 in Chicago, IL to Walter & Jean Dobrzeniecki, she was married to John Filipiak (deceased), loving mother of James (Chris) & Timothy (Sara), beloved grandmother of Brian & Eric Filipiak, aunt of Ken Dahlstrom (Lori), great aunt of Jason Dahlstrom (Sharon) and Heather Easterling (Tyler). She is also survived by Eugene Dobrzeniecki (brother), Sally Dahlstrom (sister in law), Norman Dahlstrom (brother in law) and Madge Murphy (sister in law). She was preceded in death by Helen Besler (sister). Funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. Genevieve Church, 100 S. Espina, Las Cruces, NM with internment to follow at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice, Las Cruces, NM ( www.mvhospice.org ).
