At age 71 Phyllis J. Johnson, a resident of Las Cruses, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 surrounded by her family. She is survived by two sisters Rita Bowen & Maxine Buchanan, Three children Cory Johnson & wife Tippy, son Dean Johnson & wife Missy, son Darrell Johnson & wife Jeannie. At age 71 Phyllis J. Johnson, a resident of Las Cruses, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 surrounded by her family. She is survived by two sisters Rita Bowen & Maxine Buchanan, Three children Cory Johnson & wife Tippy, son Dean Johnson & wife Missy, son Darrell Johnson & wife Jeannie. Seven Grandchildren, Tiffany Ghareeb, Brandon Johnson, Brittany Johnson, Jason Johnson, Ryan Miller, Calib Miller, Jonathan Coffman and four Great Grandchildren Victor Ghareeb, Makayla Ghareeb, Nichole Ghareeb, Gabriel Ghareeb. Over the years Phyllis worked at the Las Cruses Cotton Gin and Spanish Eyes Optical Shop. She loved Car Racing, Camping and Fishing she had a passion for playing cards and board games, bingo was her favorite. Funeral Services will be held at 3:30pm on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Fairacres Baptist Church, 5100 West Picacho Ave., Las Cruces, NM a covered dish reception to follow. PDF Printable Version
