Quention R. Garrison, 85, of Las Cruces, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005. He was born Aug. 10, 1919 in Mount Victory, Kentucky to Christopher and Malvira Helton Garrison. He was a veteran of the US Army where he served his country honorably during WW II as a SFC. While in the service of his country he spent 3 1/2 years in combat where he was awarded 2 Purple Hearts, 2 Bronze Stars and the Belgium Croix de Guerre. Mr. Garrison will be deeply missed by all his family and friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Mittie Garrison of the family home; daughter Diane English; grandchildren Shaun Garrison, Jay English and Robin Wilmott and by his great-grandson Patrick Wilmott. Quention was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Garrison, parents and by 9 brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at Ft.
