Richard S. Holewinski, 79 years of Las Cruces, NM died Sunday, November 13, 2005 in Las Cruces. He was born February 11, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan to Stephan and Mary Holwinski. Richard had served his country in the United States Navy and had retired from Union Pacific Railroad. He had been a Las Cruces resident for about the last four years and had lived in the surrounding areas over many of the past years. Richard was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed his long walks, fishing and camping. He is survived by one sister, Gertrude Lindsay and her husband Ralph of Las Cruces, NM. A niece, Catherine Lindsay of Las Cruces, NM and an aunt and uncle, Walter and Ann Mulka of Brighton, Michigan. At Richard's request cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at a later date. PDF Printable Version
